Why choose an Oclean toothbrush?
Oclean has become increasingly popular over the last few years due to its high-quality electric toothbrushes, water flossers like the Oclean W10, and other high-tech accessories.
The company itself was originally founded in 2016 in Shenzhen, China, and since then has grown rapidly and is now well-known globally for its oral hygiene products.
When it comes to electric toothbrushes, they have a whole range all at different price points, so there is something that will suit everyone’s budget. But, no toothbrush in the Oclean range is overly expensive and even their newest models are affordable.
So if you’re looking to buy a top-end toothbrush for an affordable price, then an Oclean electric toothbrush could be a great choice for you!
Which Oclean electric toothbrush should you choose?
Oclean’s range of electric toothbrushes is divided into 3 categories, depending on what you are looking for in a toothbrush: the Smart Screen Series, the Ultra Quiet Series and the Classic Series.
The Smart Screen Series includes sonic toothbrushes that, as the name suggests, have smart screen technology. The Ultra Quiet Series – you guessed it – are quieter and include noise reduction technology. Oclean’s Classic Series are sonic toothbrushes with a simple, no-fuss design for those that are just looking for an electric toothbrush that does the job.
Whichever one you choose though, it’s good to know that they have a full range of replacement brush heads in different colours to match each of their fun toothbrush colours.
Here is the full electric toothbrush range available from Oclean:
Smart Screen Series
Ultra Quiet Series
Classic Series
This article will primarily focus on Oclean’s newest sonic toothbrush models from each category: the Oclean X Pro Elite, the Air 2 and the Flow.
Let’s jump in with our Oclean toothbrush review starting with the top-of-the-range X Pro Elite Smart Electric Toothbrush.
Oclean X Pro Elite Review
The Oclean X Pro Elite is Oclean’s flagship sonic toothbrush. It has an elegant lightweight design, with a non-slip handle and smart colour touch screen. In comparison to its predecessor, the Oclean X Pro, the Elite is much quieter thanks to Oclean’s latest noise reduction technology.
This toothbrush works with an app, like other top-end electric toothbrushes, to give you a better insight into your brushing habits and help you to improve your oral hygiene routine. It also gives you a review after each brushing session so you can see what percentage of your teeth you covered, and which areas you need to pay more attention to.
If we compare this toothbrush to other high-end smart toothbrushes like Sonicare or Oral-B, Oclean is definitely one of the cheapest and best value for money. If you want to know more about how these brands compare, you can read our article, Sonicare vs Oral-B.

Features
The X Pro Elites comes with:
- Toothbrush handle
- Brush head
- USB charging cable
- Charger
- Wall mounted magnetic holder
- Instruction manual
Its main features include:
- Noise reduction technology
- Large colour touch screen
- 4 modes: clean, sensitive, massage and white
- 32 speed settings
- App connectivity
- 8 zone blind-spot monitoring
- Smart brushing routine
- 42,000 RPM power
- 3.5 hours charging time
- 35 days battery life
- IPX7 Waterproof
The number of features in the Oclean X Pro Elite toothbrush makes it incredible value for money. You can even adjust the settings on each brushing mode so it works exactly how you want.
However, our tester noticed room for a couple of small improvements. The charging base could be more sturdy, for example, and it would be handy to see the battery life as a percentage. The app can be a little overwhelming with so many features available, and it’s unlikely you’ll use this every day after the novelty has worn off.

Aesthetics
This toothbrush is beautifully designed both aesthetically and ergonomically. The non-slip handle ensures that it doesn’t easily get dropped when your hands are wet, and you can also still use the touchscreen with wet hands.
The Oclean X Pro Elite comes in a limestone grey colour with a slim, elegant design. You can also purchase replacement heads in the same colour, so you don’t have to worry about losing that elegant look when it’s time to change brush heads. It would, however, be nice if there were more colour options like with the previous model.

Performance
Overall this sonic toothbrush works really well, and although the touchscreen takes some getting used to, you can customise the duration and intensity of each brushing mode. And, once you have everything set up the way you like it, you don’t have to change anything.
Although the app can be quite confusing, the blindspot monitor is also quite helpful for seeing which areas you’re not brushing properly.
When it comes to battery life, it is very quick to charge taking just 3.5 hours, and it also holds a charge well.
Performance rating: ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ (5/5)
Cost
With all the features that make this toothbrush a high-end electric toothbrush, it is still very affordable at just £78. In fact, it’s probably one of the cheapest smart electric toothbrushes on the market!

Oclean Air 2 Review
The Oclean Air 2, Oclean’s latest Ultra Quiet Series toothbrush has been called the world’s quietest electric toothbrush. It is a simple, small and lightweight toothbrush that is perfect for travel, especially if you purchase the travel case with it.
Unlike the X Pro Elite, this model comes in 4 different colours, but it only has 2 different settings. The simplicity of this toothbrush is probably an advantage for those that like the no-fuss approach.
The main feature of this toothbrush is that it utilises Oclean’s noise reduction technology, making it much quieter than other electric toothbrushes on the market, including the Oclean X Pro Elite.
Overall, the Oclean Air 2 is a good budget toothbrush that still looks and feels premium.
Overall rating: ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆ (4/5)
Features
The Air 2 comes with:
- Toothbrush handle
- Brush head
- Magnetic charging puck
- Instruction manual
Its main features include:
- Pure Tone™ ultrasonic active noise reduction technology
- 2 modes: clean and gentle
- 40,000 Vibrations Per Minute
- 2.5 hours charging time
- 40 Days Battery Life
- IPX7 Waterproof
Features rating: ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆ (4/5)
Aesthetics
The Air 2 is simple and lightweight and yet it also feels very sturdy. As mentioned above, it comes in 4 different colours including, pink rose, purple iris, white tulip and eucalyptus leaf, giving you a little more choice.
Each brush also has matching chrome accents on both the top and bottom of the brush. Replacement brush heads are available in the same range of colours to match the handle.
Overall the design is aesthetically pleasing and light enough to easily pack away to go travelling. Do keep in mind that you’ll need to purchase a travel case separately, though.

Performance
The Oclean Air 2 does a brilliant job at cleaning your teeth and is comparable to many other popular electric toothbrushes on the market. If you like a simple electric toothbrush with limited features that still does the job, this is probably the perfect toothbrush for you.
It uses Ultrasonic Signal Technology alongside Pure Tone™ ultrasonic active noise reduction technology to make it the quietest toothbrush on the market. And, even though it’s so quiet, this toothbrush is powerful at 40,000RPM, enough to leave your teeth feeling deep cleaned.
Another perk of this toothbrush is its long-lasting battery and fast charging capabilities. Charging only takes 2.5 hours and the battery life lasts as long as 40 days. Even if you do need to take the charger with you when you travel, it’s really small and lightweight.

Cost
This toothbrush is Oclean’s mid-range electric toothbrush when it comes to cost. The RRP is £69, but again, keep an eye on their website for sales if you are looking for a bargain.
If we compare these toothbrushes to other mid-range electric toothbrushes on the market, this is another great value product from Oclean. However, unless you particularly want this one for its ultra-low noise level, the X Pro Elite arguably offers more features for around the same price.

Oclean Flow Review
The Flow is Oclean’s newest budget toothbrush. It’s another simple, no-fuss and easy-to-use toothbrush from the Classic Series. Unlike other Oclean models, it has a fun wavy design on the handle.
Even though the Oclean Flow is a very simple toothbrush it does have a 2-minute smart timer and 30-second reminder. So, for anyone that doesn’t like to be overwhelmed with features, it’s the bare minimum that will still help to improve oral hygiene routines.
Overall this is a great budget toothbrush that is simple yet elegant, and if you aren’t looking for app connectivity and multiple settings then it’s great value for money.
Overall rating: ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆ (3/5)
Features
The Oclean Flow comes with:
- Toothbrush handle
- Brush head
- USB charging cable
- Instruction manual
Its main features include:
- Pure Tone™ ultrasonic active noise reduction technology
- 5 modes: morning, night, standard cleaning, whitening and gentle
- 2 minutes Smart Timer and 30 second Reminder
- 38000 RPM Motor Cleaning Power
- 2.5 hours charging time
- 180 Days Long Standby
- IPX7 Waterproof
Features rating: ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆ (4/5)
Aesthetics
Like all of Oclean’s range of electric toothbrushes, the Flow has a professional-looking, elegant design. This toothbrush in particular has a beautiful wavy design that is a little different from the others in the range, and it comes in 2 colours, blue and white.
Aesthetics rating: ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆ (4/5)
Performance
Although this toothbrush is a budget toothbrush, it works just as well as many mid-range toothbrushes. It is simple to use, and you have 5 different modes to choose from: morning, night, standard cleaning, whitening and gentle. It runs at 38000 rpm making it slightly less powerful than other Oclean models.
Some might see it as a disadvantage that it doesn’t have app connectivity, but if you don’t care for those things then this toothbrush does the job while looking good. The battery life lasts almost half a year so you rarely have to recharge it, but when you do it only takes 2.5 hours for a full charge!
However, a weak point in the design is the charging aspect. The USB port is in the base and although the design is waterproof, you do have to wonder if this could eventually start to leak and cause problems. But, it does mean you don’t need to worry about misplacing a charging base anywhere.
Like the other latest Oclean models, this one is quieter than many other electric toothbrushes out on the market, but the humming is louder than the X Pro Elite and the Air 2.
Performance rating: ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆ (4/5)
Cost
The best part about this toothbrush is that although it is a budget toothbrush is still looks, feels and works like a mid-range electric toothbrush. The Oclean Flow costs just £48, so if you are looking for a simple budget electric toothbrush then this could be the one for you.

Conclusion
Oclean’s range of toothbrushes has something for everyone, from technologically advanced smart screen electric toothbrushes to simple, no-fuss budget ones. And, if you’re on a budget, even the most expensive Oclean toothbrush is under £80.
If you are interested in getting a high-end toothbrush but don’t want to spend hundreds of pounds, the Oclean X Pro Elite is a good option. It has similar features to other high-end toothbrushes but is much more affordable.
If you aren’t bothered about having all the latest features and smartphone technology then consider the Air 2 or the Flow. The Air 2 is a great travel option and is extremely quiet, whereas the Flow is a little louder but still a professional-looking and efficient electric toothbrush.
Overall, we found this to be a high-quality range of toothbrushes at affordable prices to suit every budget. So, whichever Oclean toothbrush you decide to go for be sure to use code Dentaly10 for 10% off your order.
