Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and Contributing Expert
Dr. Ryan Lloyd is originally from the Pacific Northwest, and after completing his undergraduate studies, he earned one of ten full scholarships offered by the US Navy to attend dental school. After working for several years in general dentistry for the Navy and the Marines, he completed advanced training in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Dr. Lloyd loves seeing the transformation that dental care can have on a person, particularly when their smile lights up for the first time. He is highly involved in many professional organizations, including the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, the California Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, the California Dental Society, the American Dental Association, and the Monterey Bay Dental Society. He is also Stemodontics certified, a cutting-edge technology based on stem cell research.
Dr. Lloyd loves to spend time with his wife and children and can often be found outdoors — even running the occasional marathon.
