Group Operations Director (Fluent French)

Objectives of this role
- Overseeing the website Dentaly.org in five languages, as well as dottordentista.com, dentalygo.org, nutrident.fr (two languages): content strategy, SEO strategy, backlink strategy & associated tasks, paid ad campaigns, social media marketing, email marketing, site updates & improvements, monetization strategy through affiliate marketing
- Working closely with the CEO to direct and implement effective business strategies and organizational structures, playing a fundamental role in shaping the future of the company
- Collaborating with key departments on a range of innovative commercial and product solutions, using a data-driven mentality to ensure effective scaling and international growth
- Managing a team of 28 people made up of long-term staff members and short-term freelancers: Country Managers, Editors, Writers, SEO Manager, Developers and Designer
- Increasing the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company’s internal capacity
- Ensuring that operational activities remain on time and within budget
- Tracking staffing requirements, hiring new employees as needed
Responsibilities
- Leading, motivating, and supporting a team of 28 people within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including problem resolution
- Working closely with CEO to plan financial milestones, manage budgets, allocate capital and ensure adherence to set targets
- Providing reports on financials and growth metrics to CEO
- Working closely with the SEO department: overseeing on-page and off-page SEO implementation
- Overseeing content, design, social media, PPC and other marketing activities
- Conducting budget reviews and reporting cost plans to upper management
Required skills and qualifications
- Fluent both in French and in English
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in digital marketing, operations management, business administration, or related field
- Three or more years of proven success in an operations management role
- Strong understanding of standard and current SEO practices
- Experience monetizing a website through affiliate marketing
- Experience implementing Google E-E-A-T guidelines
- Strong skills in budget development and oversight
- Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of branch operations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong project management and organization skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
- Proven record of leadership and team management skills
Nice to have:
- SEO experience for a medical information website
- Hands-on experience creating content, conducting keyword research, and implementing backlinking strategies
- Staying current on the latest digital marketing trends
- Understanding of paid search engine marketing, website user experience and conversion optimization
- Experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and other programming related topics
